Chess Coach HQ brings the records behind a coaching session into one workspace: student details, lesson schedules, manual payment records, homework and coaching notes.
The aim is practical: help an individual coach find what they need before a lesson, keep track of what happened and record what to work on next.
A Focused First Version
V1 is a free beta for individual coaches managing their own students. You can maintain student profiles, schedule lessons, record attendance, track amounts due and paid, keep homework records with external links, and write or update progress notes.
Ratings, goals, homework statuses and progress observations are entered by the coach. Payments are collected through your usual channels and recorded manually in the app. You continue to send homework and communicate with students or parents outside Chess Coach HQ.
What V1 Does Not Include
This version has no student or parent portal, automatic sharing, payment collection, generated invoices or receipts, training library, structured programs or detailed progress reports. Automatic reminders, calendar integrations and shared workspaces for multiple coaches are also outside V1.
Coaches who teach at schools or clubs can use an individual workspace. It does not give other coaches or an academy access to that workspace. Future features and release dates have not been announced.
About the Founder
Jon Pastorizo is a chess enthusiast and ecommerce consultant who builds practical digital tools. Chess Coach HQ brings those interests together around the everyday work of organizing a coaching business.
The beta is an opportunity to learn how coaches use the app, where they get stuck and which improvements would help them most. That feedback will guide what comes next.
